What I expect from top fighters is top fighting skills. Campbell HAS NONE.

EDIT: btw, curiously the three examples I gave are british. Maybe, and only maybe, the problem is not me seeing the reality as it is, but british guys completely deluded by their press which, btw, is not he best press in the world to be honest. British fighters are hyped like no tomorrow, every single eurolevel guy is hyped to a demigod if he's british for god knows the reason. Germans are spoon-fed, but not half hyped as british fighters. Just a theory.

Ofc. When I say bum I dont mean a fighter like me, I mean "not a top fighter".

Boxing for me is like coffee. Or it is extremelly good coffee, or I prefer not to have it. I am always willing to taste new brands of coffee, to see if they are really god or not, but I prefer no coffee better than a bad-average coffee.

That's the reason I don watch domestic level boxing. I hate it. I love to watch prospects though, the same way I love to taste new brands of coffees, but I hate those domestic level matches, eurolevel included. I only am able to enjoy TOP boxing, and I completely love it. It's art, it's extremelly beatiful to watch flawless boxing, it's amazing.

But when I watch "normal" boxing I only see flaws, here and here and here, and he's doing this bad, and he doesnt know how to do this, or that... I detest domestic boxing. The same way I think top boxing is pure art, domestic/average boxing is like watching mentally handicaped people playing chess, yes it can be competitive, but it's painful to watch if you know what you are watching. Watching campbell fighting I was only able to watch his flaws, he has thousands.... it was disgusting. I, by no mean, will buy that he's a top fighter, because he IS NOT.

I wonder how much motivation Campbell will have after the Lomachenko. He trained so hard, boxed his skin off against Loma and ultimately failed short.

 

His problem is that he's 31. He has not a lot of margin fro improvement.

I get that as I can't be doing with domestic level cricket and same goes for boxing.That said I don't think you appreciate how hard it is to win every fight like Floyd did,regardless of the opposition.
Every boxer has flaws so you gonna be disappointed a lot.It's common knowledge that one has to be a decent fighter to win a medal and in any case whatever your own standards are?to call so many fighters bums is just you trying to be as hurtful as you can as it's just about the worst thing you can call someone.
I know that you know this when you type this out on every thread.

 

I hope he thinks that going twelve rounds and being somewhat competitive is a good thing and that the experience will do him well.

I dont know, man, I'm not a native english speaker, for me a bum is a bad boxer, that's all the meaning it has for me.

I dont call people a bum for losing. Kovalev lost, he's no bum. Chocolatito lost, he's no bum. Rigondeaux lost, he's no bum. Wladimir lost, he's no bum. Thurman lost, he's no bum. And I can continue with the list ad infinitum, because there are tons of top fighters, we are lucky.

But, campbell is not one of them. That's all. I blame him for his flaws, not for losing. His jab leaves him WIDE open, even with his reach advantage, his right hand falls when he throws the jab. Come on, man, you want to fight at top guys' level? you cant do that. His head? completely stiff, I invite you to watch a couple of random seconds of the fight again and to compare lomachenkos head movement with campbell's head movement. When he got tired it was getting worse and worse and wrose btw....

I dont bash people for losing, actually I have always thought that floyd's 0 is one of the worst things that ever happened to this sport. There is nothing wrong in losing. As long as you fought with top level skills.
