Luke Campbell of Hull wins gold!

    Luke Campbell, young Hull boxer, has just won gold in the Great Britain Amateur Boxing Championships beating the UK's number one rated boxer (Iain Weaver) in the final 23-6. He's only 18 or 19, hopefully he'll now make the bantamweight squad for 2012, it's his place to lose. Been following him since he was like 15, this kid has nice tools, and hoping he reads this forum I say good luck kid.

    Look out for him and support where you can please.

    ive sparred a couple of rounds with luke he give me a free lesson!! i was very very impressed hope he gets a chance to go for 2012 i would give him a great chance of bringing home the gold good luck to him top top boxer

    Didn't he win the European Championship when it was in Liverpool?
