Luke campbells press conference

I agree. Compare what Luke has said at press conferences compared to Ogogo. Anthony talking about knighthoods made me cringe.

 

Luke is white skinned, so won't get as much hate as Josua, Harrison, DeGale, Ogogo, Khan.

 

I like the lad. Seems very well spoken and well grounded.

Joshua is almost universally liked apart from with the fans who think he got gifted his gold medal.

Harrison was loved when he turned pro, it wasn't until he started fighting like he was terrified to be hit whilst at the same time talking himself up as the new Lennox that people turned on him.

DeGale was always a cocky, childish prat which is why nobody liked him

Ogogo is neither loved nor hated as he's not had any real hype surrounding his pro career.

I agree that there is an element of racism with the Khan hate, but at the same time I can see why some people dislike him for his constant public delusions of how good he is.

 

I am a white guy, very conservative and hate the race card being played. Any kind of PC nonsense winds me up and positive discrimination drives me crazy.

But I honestly believe allot of people look more posativley towards white fighters, and I base that on posting on this forum for 5+ years now.

All those assessments of fighters are fair. I just think at times when a white fighter does something it is seen in a more posative light.

Tony Bellew calls himself the best Light Heavyweight in the world and is called confident. He calls Cleverly silly names and is seen as funny. He makes bold claims and is seen as ambitious. Khan does the same stuff and is seen as cocky, disrespectful and deluded.

Joshua always gets ripped apart on this forum. The hate started before he even got to the Olympics. Ogogo gets ALLOT of hate on this forum
