Branch is no bum.... Had a great run in WSOF and lasted the distance against Rumble.

But we just know he's gonna have to face Whitaker next whilst Bisping fights GSP and Woodley.

Good return to form for Rockhold, wouldn't mind seeing the belated Weidman rematch next.

I understood the Hendo rematch, and I do get them giving GSP a super fight, my issue is in between those two should have been a legit fight.

I mean yeah they say Whitaker was unavailable but it seems a bit too convenient for me that.

WME doesn't know how to run an MMA company or properly market their talent. As much as people used to criticize Dana and the Fertitta's they made household names of their fighters and marketed big fights well. Now it's just Conor or bust.

Did Branch actually tap to strikes? Regardless; Godd win for Rockhold, Branch is solid.

Rockhold v.s Roidmero would be a fun fight.

    Rockhold by head kick KO.

I think that's a real possibility. Provided Rockhold gets through the early rounds. But he appears to be open to power strikes, he might be in trouble if Romero blitzed him early. Anyways.... The longer it goes the more it favors Rockhold.

Going to do a sitdown of the fights I missed last due to Golovkin/Alvarez. Starting with Lombard/Smith. Will start in about 10-15 minutes assuming anyone is interested in joining.

10-9 Lombard. Kicked the hell out of Smiths lead leg, landed some nice combos upstairs. Smith did a surprisingly good job at avoiding and rolling with a lot of the shots though. a younger Smith wouldn't have gotten out of that round.

10-9 Lombard close. More of the same... Lombard is picking away that the legs but Smith is doing an even better job at avoiding his wild haymakers and hooks, starts having success in the last 30 seconds or so and appears to drop Lombard who ends up on top and rides out the round(old scoring system is being used here - under the new system I'd have given this one to Smith)

Lombard gets hit with a straight right with his hands down coming forward and goes down awkwardly face first, it's only a flash knockout but Smith is all over him and McCarthy quickly stops it... Lombard sits up in a fetal position and shakes his head in disappointment. TKO 3 for Smith.
