No. You can always try to make weight. The commission never stopped him from making weight. He just did not want to lose energy trying to make it so he could take advantage of the weight.
You're wrong. If you fight below 147 and you're 2 lbs. or more overweight, by rule, you are not allowed to try to lose the weight.
Lundy trying to get a payday, but like the rest of the glass jawed Philly fighters he would get KO'd by Broner.
I disagree, I know allot of you guys support Demarco but to me he is fragile mentally when taken deep into a fight. I think Lundy presents a bigger challenge to be honest.
This is the same Lundy that has a controversial dec over Abril and was put on his a$$ in the same fight? And I think Molina KO him too... Broner is not proven just yet but I think he will just need one punch to finish the fight.
That sounds good and all, but Broner wrecks this cat. I like Lundy, and I hope he does well, but he's not as good as Broner, simple as that.
IB is a helluva dude, and I respect him alot (no homo), but he intentionally mislead you with his post...the dude wasn't 13 pounds overweight, that's clearly not true. He was 3.5 lbs overweight, not excusing it, just correcting the initial misrepresentation.
This is true. I believe on fighter night there was only a 2 pound weight differential between the two as well.
Broner would take him out and get no credit. He needs one of those ballsy fights to get his due. He should just head right to 140.
why wouldn't he get credit? Hank is a really good fighter and Broner would be coming up from 130 to fight him. I like that fight A LOT
