Just been watching a little Becerra, what little there is of him on YouTube, and he's active and entertaining and has obviously had that standard-issue left hook all Mexicans are anointed with at some point, but Pintor is a notch above him. Tighter style, better chin, more roundedness to his game and superb stamina. He stops Becerra somewhere around 10-12.

    At what weight?

I like both guys, since they don’t make fighters like Becerra and Pintor anymore, but if the fight is at 118 I’d have to go with Becerra. At the higher weights though Pintor would have the edge.

Super Bantam didn't exist yet in Becerra's era. And Pintor, like Becerra, had his prime at 118.

    So I meant at 118.

But yeah, I agree Pintor wins. Shorter, more compact puncher, tougher, and probably better stamina.

Becerra, it appears, might have been a bigger puncher, but i dont think itd be enough.

I cant see Becerra lasting the distance with Zarate, and giving Gomez a tough fight.
