Scrapper vs Boxer. Who do you favor in this competitive fight? Would Pintor be able to out-hustle Lora to grind out a victory, or would Lora find success in boxing smart and out-moving Pintor?

Tough to choose. Might have to favor Pintor slightly.

If it's 12, Lora on points. 15, I might slightly lean toward Pintor on points, but it's close.

Dang, was hoping more people would chime in on this one. It's an interesting styles match up.

Pintor would hustle out a decision. Lora had suspect stamina for most of his 118 shelf life, due to his large weight cuts, and would frequently admire his own defensive work at the cost of not throwing and even losing rounds. He was also inconsistent as a ring general, though obviously brilliant at his short best. I can't see Lora keeping up with a peak Lupe in the end (unless he has his suspect sugar water lol). Pintor wasn't exactly a stupid fighter either. He'd know to get close and would be able to do it, too. Lora wouldn't bother him power wise IMO. Pintor would come on later after losing the early rounds and some conservative paced middle rounds from both.

Pintor decision, 12 or 15. Honestly don't think a draw is out of the question for 12, depending.

I think there was a reason why he was so happy...

Pintor was another level from Lora. A savage in the ring and one of the greatest infighter in boxing history, Lupe will ravage Lora on the inside and deposit his carcas into the canvas inside 14 rds. Pintor was a great. Lora should stick to the dime a dozen champions like Chandler if he wants to remain Happy.

To be fair Pintor lost to Davila, and then beat him in the rematch by close decision. Whereas Lora had a much easier time against Davila twice.
Lora was also a good infighter as well, and I don't think I've seen Pintor fight a defensive slickster like Lora. It's a close, competitive fight IMO.

Good post! This is how I see it as well. If Lora had his sugar water then maybe I can see him eeking out the win haha.

Daila was at the very end of a long hard road. 76 and 80 Davila kicks Loras ass.

What sal said more or less. Lora was a skilled infighter like Flo said and we never saw Pintor against a top notch slickster and natural punch slipper with a decent punch, so there's nothing to say he wouldn't end up fuddled for a bit too long before getting going. But yeah, Happys dodgy stamina is a worry, though it was less prevalent in his earlier days at the weight.
