All these fights have to be taken when you feel the fighter was prime at the weight and would be having their best night.

    The LWs are

    Oscar De La Hoya
    Floyd Mayweather
    Julio Cesar Chavez
    Roberto Duran
    Parnell Whitaker
    Artur Gregorian
    Vasiliy Lomachenko
    Jose Luis Castillo

    The draw is
    First round

    Chavez -
    Vs ---- winner
    Castillo -

    Mayweather -
    Vs ---- winner
    Whitaker -

    De La Hoya -
    Vs ---- winner
    Duran -

    Lomachenko -
    Vs ----- winner
    Gregorian -

Who wins the first round and goes on to win

Don't need to do the whole thing.

Duran and Whitaker get to the final
    Whitaker wins imo.

Grigorian should win this quite easily. A shame that he is not included in more of these discussions

Seriously I think this particular tourney ends with FMJ vs Duran....

I will refrain from posting my winner out of concern of having my classic forum membership revoked.

Most won’t agree but outside of Castillo and Grigorian (LOL) I could see anyone of the others winning.

Be very surprised indeed if Duran or Whitaker didn't meet in the final, sweet pea beats Floyd, he's a better version of Mayweather than Mayweather is of Whitaker, if you get me. Not sure if even Duran could work out PW to be honest.

Duran wins this. Duran a natural born killer especially at LW.

I don't agree but many I have read felt Castillo beat floyd
Gregorian was a top consistent lw

Who did Grigorian face and or beat of note? That is the big knock against him. Is there any quality opponent he fought or beat that would give credence to the idea that he could beat anyone on this list. His number of defenses is largely rooted in its lackluster quality. But I am open to hearing a different take if there is one

Duran would be the smart bet but Mayweather would throw a wrench in that probably.

    Chavez
    Sweet Pea
    Duran
    Loma

Pernell beats Chavez and Duran beats Loma.

    Pernell wins the final.
