I wonder where Mikey falls into the LW ranks if he goes back down there. WW: 1) Crawford 2) Pacquiao 3) Spence 4) Thurman 5) Porter 6) Ugas 7) Garcia 8) Ortiz 9) Mikey 10) Lipinets I feel like LWs top 5 are a lot more competitive than WW top 5, although the top 3 seems unclear now, it may be that Crawford is far ahead. The fact that I rate Tank 4th in his division when he would be 1 in most other eras says a lot.
I think welter is deeper 1-10, with the same clear 3 or 4 top guys as LW, but without the big fall off toward the bottom. The bottom top 10 are very competitive with the top group. Added bonus of specs like Yele, Ennis, etc waiting in the wings.
I swear it feels like that division should get ignored just to humble those guys. Spence and Crawford literally hasn’t fought because they want at least $20 million. I don’t expect things to change once these young LWs get there either. Guys get to 147 and turn to straight divas.
