The extremely tough and durable Lyle who had a good jab and a nuclear
bomb in his right hand against a granite chin and one of the best jabs in the history of the division. I think Pink can win a decision here, but Lyle
obviously has a good chance of hurting Pink. Thoughts?

I agree, I'll take the chin and jab but it is a good match up.

I think Thomas was much better than Lyle, and would beat him.

Thomas on a good night beats Lyle. Lyle will certainly not be an easy fight for Thomas but I see his good jab and range being trouble for Lyle who is a bit to easy to hit eventually I see Thomas hurting Lyle bad sometime in the mid to late rounds with an accumulation of his jabs and follow up right hands. I think Lyle would end up against the ropes and take a number of blows before finally hitting the canvas or the ref stopping the fight. It wouldn't surprise me to see Lyle go the distance either but Thomas wins a clear cut decision in that case. I don't consider Pinklon Thomas to overall be a much better fighter then Ron Lyle was but I see it as a bad match up for Lyle stylistically.

Good match up, Hook. Lyle has the power to cause some trouble but getting past Pink's ramrod jab will be a huge problem. I lean towards Pink in a barnburner.

Pink had some beard though, took Tyson what 10 flush shots to KO him.

Pink didn't have THAT much of a granite chin to absorb a Lyle right hand...and though he's use that spendid left jab of his and would outbox him for stretches...the question would be how he would react when Lyle tags him.

    Thomas outboxes him...very cautiously.

On his best night I'm sure Pinklon beats any version of Lyle.

Pinklon would just edge Ron, very barely.
