A decent boxer with a good hook and a nuclear right hand vs a fiesty left hook from hell in Tua. Thoughts Lyle vs Tua 15 rounds yeah right
I think both are overrated on this forum, and while it could probably go either way....this is the call I would make.
I guess that Tua was more durable, but Lyle was the better boxer, and less inclined to go into a shell when stung. Lyle, but with reservations.
Both hugely over rated IMO..never get the fuss over tua and whilst Lyles life story is inspiring he didnt really beat much...two valiant defeats to a fading Ali and a gung ho Foreman achieved his fame.
This would be a epic battle. I think Lyle would be ahead on points but likely would begin to fade late with the furious pace allowing Tua, who had very good stamina especially in his prime, to score a late finish while Lyle's back is against the ropes or is pinned in the corner. Lyle knocking out Tua though isn't out of the question as he was a devastating puncher who could potentially knockout anyone.
