Too close for me to call, would favor Lyle off his battle royale with Foreman and win over Shavers and Bonavena.

Lyle by decision. Tua is rated somewhere between King Kong and Godzilla on this forum. I look at his actual record and accomplishments and can only SMH when I see the reverence in which he is held.

Lyle by a close majority decision. Tua's chin would hold Lyle power in check, but Lyle's skillset would be a little more than what Tua had to offer, to pull out the win.

Yeah, I'm with the majority here: Lyle by decision.
I'll go for a unanimous flavour one.

This feels strange....I think Tua stops him in 10.

I could see Lyle lighting him up in exchanges before then, infact, this could be a terrific but shorter battle and go nowhere near 10 when thinking about it. I first thought Tua late ko as you, but really and truly I haven't a clue, it be good though

Yeah I think the first 4 rounds would be a nice slugfest. And I think Tua would land the heavier hits, but Lyle might have a slight lead. I do think Lyle would also land some big shots Tua’s would wear Lyle down more than the other way around. I think Tua would start to control it around 6-8 and could see it ending in that frame as well.

Yeah agreed. Only an opinion, but I see Lyle letting off combo's and getting the better early, but Tua is on him regardless after a few rounds and cranking up the hook when Lyle wilts abit. Perhaps he doesn't wilt at all and moves enough and picks to land heavy shots and moves a bit for the ud, I just don't see it though !

Lyle could box pretty well he was outboxing Ali for part of their fight he should be able to win a wide decision against Tua. While David had massive power and a great chin he was very limited and a boxer of Lyle skillset should be able to get the job done.

I go with Lyle. Tua is the most overrated fighter of the forum.

Tua knocks Lyle out in the 1st round. Too open and too reckless.

I agree. You have to be Muhammad Ali or Lennox Lewis to last to the 2nd round against Classic forum Tua.
