Very nicely done, sir. Quick question about the second match... why didn't you choose to pass to the full mount when you had side mount? He wasn't defending it at all and was right there for the taking. Were you hoping to side-step that and go directly to the back if he rolled to his right then you'd fall over him by putting pressure on his left shoulder/side thus rolling you onto your back with control of his? Either way, damn well done.
Well I like to attack from the side or half guard rather than mount if I know i'm a lot stronger than the other person. I thought I could take him out with the north/south but he turned into me as you can see... :verysad At that point I thought to myself I needed to take the back as my arms were gassed from the first match... Cheers buddy! I'm trying to make my atmosphere. Lynchburg
In the first vid when you were going for the kimura on his left arm you might have been able to transition to an arm bar on his right arm. I end up going for Americanas and kimuras (A lot of the time without success) and when I seen that vid it gave me that idea... so thanks!!! I am fairly new at BJJ too so I could be totally wrong at my idea. Great job getting Bronze!!
