How do we see this one going guys? I felt both impressed with Arthur effectively beating Yarde with one hand using his jab, yet disappointed with Yarde at the same time for his arrogance/lack of urgency and inability to effectively cut the ring off against Arthur.

In any case, Arthur won so congratulations to him, and taking that performance into consideration (and assuming he's got both his hands working in his next fight) how do you think a fight would go down between him and Buatsi?

Yarde could have very easily have won the fight if his corner weren’t telling him how great he was. Buatsi wins but I’m not overly sold on him yet, it will be a close fight but Buatsi will do enough to win the rounds I think.

Didn’t Buatsi beat him in amateurs? Arthur boxed excellently on Saturday against a one dimensional puncher but Buatsi has the ring IQ to set traps and break Arthur down. I see Arthur has potentially fringe Euro level but Buatsi can go further despite his underwhelming performance in his last fight. They learn from them fights.

I really rate Buatsi and think he'd get to Arthur later on.

Arthur has a brilliant jab and whereas Yarde didn't know how to take away the jab and lacked ideas, I feel Buatsi would be able to offer more in response allowing him to make opportunities to rip those combinations off that he does so well. Plus he has a very good jab of his own.

Buatsi punishes him and stops him within 6, Arthur looked vulnerable when Yarde decided to throw punches at him.

I like Arthur but from what I have seen when he comes up against decent opposition he fights scared almost as if he is lacking confidence in his ability, in addition to this his chin also looked shaky in that last round. Buatsi on the other hand has bags of ability and hits hard. He will stop Arthur.

Think buatsi would get him late, very good fight for both at this stage but it's unlikely to happen anytime soon imo.

He is 13(11)-0, ranked number 1 in Britain, 20th in the world and signed with the biggest promoter in the UK. I would say he is doing pretty well.

No, it doesn’t mean much but if they fought each other I’m sure it would play a part psychologically...for example, Warrington’s beating Galahad in the ams was mentioned several times in the build up.

Yes, he’s on a pudding diet but his last opponent really pushed him. That will do him the world of good.

Also, I thought there was some anxiety with Arthur. Barrett was constantly telling him to believe in his ability. That win will be great for him. I said from day one that Arthur would beat Yarde. I’m fully convinced he beats him again.

Guy Bautsi beat in his last fight would have beaten Yarde fighting the way he did. The next fight is key for Bautsi, as we will see if he has learned from his mistakes in his last fight. If he wants to have a chance of being a world champion he will need to improve on his last outing. My gut feeling is he will. Either way he would stop both Arthur and Yarde imo. Bautsi and Johnson are the two best LHWs in UK right now.
