It’s a terrible card, I commend your enthusiasm for watching the early undercard bouts! I’m in the UK and I hadn’t even thought of watching the card at all. Tomorrow night the Matchroom show looks solid, terrific chief support in Walker-Crocker.

Sultan Suleiman Zaurbek vs. Román Rubén Reynoso, 10 rounds @ super featherweight

 

GODDAMN! I knew this looked to be a mismatch on paper but Zaurbek absolutely cremated this jamoke.

Three brutal knockdowns in two minutes. Kind of impressed by 220 Voltios getting up from the first couple. All were hard body shots, either right hooks or left uppercuts, and even Zaurbek's southpaw jab up top was stunning Reynoso to set it all up.

Massive disparity in class there.

 

The mulleted Kazakh is now 18-0 (13), and picked up some alphabet continental bauble not listed on BoxRec.

Commentators say he's now in line to challenge Anthony Cacace.

 

Wait, so does this mean the Channel 5 broadcast has two hours budgeted for literally just the main event?

 

Emcee just informed the crowd there will now be a thirty minute interval because of the brevity of that last contest.

You make some interesting points and I hear what you're saying about Arthur. I feel he (Arthur) is lacking in the heart department as well, but he is fighting a guy whose best wins were at middleweight, and who hasn't fought anyone with a pulse since 2017.
