10-9 Machida - 48-47 Anders. Although the 2nd was close. Could be Lyoto's fight especially considering it's in Brazil.

Poor round from Anders, he showed his inexperience.

Lyoto vs Bisping isn't a bad matchup

Great novelty/legacy fight. I agree. Solid matchup.

The ref was putrid and her corner ought to be pistol whipped for that, too. Absolutely disgusting from both parties.

    She's probably ruined now.

I'm shocked they've never crossed paths, tbh, actually had to go check Wikipedia to see if they were ever scheduled to because I could've sworn they either did or were supposed to at one point.

Their stints in the UFC have overlapped for a dozen years straight, and they've both vacillated between middle & light heavy in that span as perennial contenders. Just seems like they'd have fought by now. Weird.

Also always 1 shot from destroying his opponent ,his chin was never that good sadly but as a deadly counter attacker his success has been based on his speed and taking little damage and taking advantage of mistakes like the over reaching Anders did trying to land the big shot. I think Anders still has potential and should learn from it, he was lucky that wasn't prime Machida who would have stopped him imo. Hopefully this is the last year for him even though he still can beat most of the top guys but with that loss of speed he could he could get hurt against the guys with more power. I think Machida will KO him but a Bisping fight like has been suggested could be a good next fight for him .
