Your obviously an MMA noob. The event focuses on the fighters and their life, not some jack ass bald guy who acts tough after his boxercise lessons. M1 still has quite a bit to go before being level with the EPIC Pride but they are the closest. M1 is pretty much following the old Pride formula, where they as a promotion were lucky enough to take part in and have input in. Its epic win because we are starting to see the rebirth of Pride through another promotion and in another country. Its epic because MMA was at its best during the Pride era where the best fought the best 3 or more times a year. Finally its epic because its far better than the lame fighter intro that the UFC does, gladiators with a sucky music is lame and old especially after hearing the same **** year after year.
