  4. Many of those videos (the ones in Russian anyway) comes from Mixfight.ru which is basically the Russian website for M-1 Global (MMA is called Mixfighting in Russia and that region).

M1-Global knows of these videos and actually releases it on its websites. They arent being anal like Zuffa :patsch and are actually giving fans a chance to see upcoming fighters put on a good show.

As an MMA fan im enjoying all these stuff.

Um... I've been meaning to watch the Fedor vs. Monson since the night it happened and I'm currently watching it and... I'd be lying if I said it didn't look at least a little bit questionable.

Look at 17:36, it looks like a phantom punch, and Jeff Monson doesn't seem to be doing jack ****.

    Something doesn't seem right...

  7. At first I suspected that Jeff was acting a bit like Werdum but on second look it did look like he got caught with a good one but recover quickly. On final look at his battered face and body after the fight it was clear that he basically got picked apart. Battered face, broken and swollen leg arent something you can fake.

  8. That so called phantom punch looked to be a straight right (it didnt look like Fedor put his whole weight into it though) but it did get through Monson's defenses and connect on his chin. Monson had his eyes closed from the time he got hit to the time he hit the floor, so definitely a micro KO.

Heres a screen shot (just a tiny fraction of a second after impact so its not smack bang on the chin, I couldn't hit pause fast enough for that optimal screenshot).

Fedor still has the speed, but he doesn't put his weight into anything like he used to, except when he goes for the cross body kimura I guess.

Nonsense, even in the ring with Monson, it is clear that his speed is not the same

No no no can't you tell that it's all makeup? Fedor clearly stayed on the opposite side of the ring from him the whole time....

Monson took a beating in that fight. He just doesn't have the tools to compete with a complete fighter like Fedor. I don't know why everyone is saying Fedor looked bad. He did what he needed to do. He was patient. Picked his shots and worked his way to the win. It was just the fight he needed to get back in the win column.

It's easy to look fast against a punching bag, Monson should have gotten a yellow card, what was his gameplan? He simply did f-all

How long has Jeff been saying he's going to move back down to 205? I like Jeff but he's big for nothing. Unless he's on the mat he's hopeless. This loss reminded me of when he fought Tim Sylvia. He was just turned into a punching bag.
