http://mixedmartialartvideos.com/ If anyones interested most of the fights can be seen on the above link.It looks like the M-1 is the new PRIDE.Trigg is still commentating for them they have the original PRIDE announcer (the screaming crazy women) and it seems the cross promotion or at least the original guys from PRIDE are very much keen to keep PRIDE going although the UFC obviously owns the namesake now.May be they could fill the power vacuum in the East.
Of course.It wouldnt surprise me if Hero`s did a cross promotion with them too.Hero`s certainly have the audience and the buying power plus the M-1 has been around for some time although there a relatively small Russian org.But right now they have the man that everyone wants.
I couldnt really see the logo`s on the gloves but i doubt it.The UFC owns the name.There not going to allow anyone to use it unless Dana is making some cash from it.
That card made me nostalgic for the old PRIDE days. The announcers are what really made PRIDE the insanely great entity it was. You had the pro-wrestling, WWF-style entrances, but instead of the Chuck Liddell's DMX tracks, you had a Japanese woman screaming "VANDERRRLEEEEIIIIGHHHHHHH.... SEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELVAA!" Strange combination, but it worked.
