I dont hear either fighter talking down to each other. Its Freddy and Floyd that are doing all the usual promo and gamesmanship stuff.:hat:smoke

I think this fight will see Hatton "attempt" to "box" using his newly installed defensive/attacking skills for a round or two,but when the pressure is on he will abandon it like a stolen car, and simply fight like Ricky Hatton fights.

I can see Pacman duplicating the same tactics he used against DLH. It will be a war, paticularly if Pacman discovers Rickys best shots dont phase him,or the other way around....

Ricky will need to cut the ring to trap his man, otherwise he will get dizzy going in circles and getting turned when he charges in.

And Moorer saying that Pacman is punching "like a heavyweight" is just the same as saying Pacman is "punching well above his weight".....im sure Floyd thinks the same thing of Ricky. :good

whatever happens i want to see the crash that will be the pactrain express derail. i'm guessing it won't be too much longer. his win over hoya sry but odl did **** all in that fight. to be honest i don't think oscar was in shape to even shadow box for 12 rounds let alone fight. we know this hatton is a pressure fighter who keeps coming. too bad the hatton that fought zoo wasn't here. let hope shades of him are. although the zoo fight was ugly he still walked right through zoo's shots and that says alot. actually too bad prime zoo wasn't around now he'd smack pac ****ing silly.

    HE said..

Manny hits so hard, like a heavyweight...and then was cut off.

Im pretty sure he meant that he hits with force similar to a heavyweight...not comparing the power of Pac to a heavyweight.

It was also cut off so Im assuming they took that **** out of context.

I think the Hatton strength advantage is the most overrated thing going into this fight!all of Hattons hopes are pinned to him being absolutely too strong for Pac and it will be a ***** if they find out they are not that much stronger, then they are f-----

Agreed, only Roach clearly has to know who he's dealing with a this point. Hatton is all business, some would say crudely so, and Hatton is going to do what Hatton does no matter what. There isn't anybody in the community who doesn't know that by now. Roach has been blowing smoke, he knows it's smoke, but what else is he gonna do? Sit with his discomfort? Apparently not.

IMO, Roach has been talking about this '3 rounds' stuff in a bluff to make Hatton more conservative in the early going. Now, of course he knows it won't work, but he's soo nervous about the situation, he has to constantly get sophmoric on everybody.

If some of us fans have been feeling the pressure as we get closer to the fight, we can only imagine what the fighters, and especially the trainers must be going through. The other day, Roach was trying to warn Hatton though the media about coming in too heavy - as if Hatton doesn't know how to manage his weight at 140 after all these years, FFS. Roach says this, and Roach says that, but all Roach is telling me is what he's uncomfortable with. You know what they say about the loudest one in the room.

And of course Freddie was saying the same **** for the DLH fight. He was nervous as **** for that one too. Understandably. Freddie admitted afterward that not all was smooth sailing in camp - there's a pattern for us... Unfortunately for Roach, all this talk is going to blow up in his face if things don't go well. Epic.

Team Pacquiao and they're mind games. Roach already said that his 3 round prediction was his way of getting under the skin of Mayweather Sr. I suspect Moorer's comments were also intended to rattle the psyche of Team Hatton.

The gamesmanship in boxing can get a little tiresome after awhile. Most of it is just a rerun.

the punches i saw pacman throw in the de la hoya fight, was not even hard enough to knock ODLH out!!!
So just let them talk...They are just hyping up the fight.
The next thing, could be that pacman have sold his car..he is now flying to the gym every morning.

He obviously doesn't mean "He's punching with the power of a heavyweight" but rather "He's punching with the pound-for-pound force and hurtfulness of a heavyweight"..

I agree with you, Imagine what the worse case scenario is for hatton? I honestly think all his 'bad' habits are going to catch up with him in the ring. I cant believe people still way underestimate the advantage of speed. This is boxing not wrestling.
