It is certainly effective against morbidly obese opponents with no foot speed and questionable levels of motivation, yes.

Ward was far better and he landed more shots, Byrd fought during a crappy era in the heavyweight division and Lewis was better than him.

Fury wasn`t that fat in his first bout v Wilder and moved well in that fight, he slips shots far better than any fighter near to his size including AJ who doesn`t slip punches, his head movement is below par.

Ward would never win a heavyweight title, he`s tiny and wouldn`t be able to fight inside because he wasn`t that good on the inside and he couldn`t beat heavyweights on the outside because of his reach.

Even in the first fight he was really fat compared to the likes of other big heavyweights like Lewis and both Klitschko brothers.

Ward had more than good enough static defense and foot movement to just make the heavyweights miss. He could have attacked them after making them gas out in the first 4-5 rounds due to missing so many punches and having **** poor stamina.

Fury is taller than Lewis and the Klitschko bros. Lewis was only 6'5.

Jesus! How slow do you think heavywieghts are? They sound like Primo Carnera, Ali`s hand speed was as quick as Ward`s.

Ward wouldn`t have the power to stop a big heavyweight.

    Agree

height, if used effectively, is a great advantage

it keeps your opponent at bay where you he cannot reach you, but you can still reach him

this is a rather ridiculous for someone as knowledgeable as Tyson to say that

Small guys can't handle the Wlad & AJ's

big powerful men who can knock you over with a stiff jab

    Parker fought scared as hell

none of the small men can move on AJ like a prime Mike, so there is nothing to worry about

You have to worry about the 6'8" 270 pound Fury who can move on your like a little man and fight you any way you want it.

AJ only came unstuck because he couldn't keep the iron domed burrito down
