MAB fought the fight he I taught he was going to fight and lost as I expected different result yet a lost....

He lost the Jaurez v MAB II style, the only two things were different was that on this fight he fought not to get KO and the opponent was Pacquiao and not Jaurez...

I had the fight 118-109 Pacquiao, who double MAB'S punch out put and connecting rate, he fought a beautiful fight, showing that he is one step closer on being a complete fighter, his jab was sharp , quick and accurate, I was extremelly surprized by his improvement of the right hand....he beat MAB to the punch the entire night...

And in similar fashion to many MAB fight, you knew that at one point in the fight he was going to hit in the clinch and sure enought he did....when it happend Kondo and me at the same time said: One point deduction..

BTW, on the Merchant interview I taught that Manny was very humble and respectful while MAB was on denial mode and questioning the desicion...he lost, and it was obvious that he fought not to get KO rather than challenging Manny...

Pure Class this guy PAC...this is a defining fight for PAC, he turned into a boxer selectively brawling...right hand was effective and so was the D. Alot of people might think this is unimpressive without the KO but I see it as maturation. A PAC with a jab will be unbeatable

Well ....it might be just you and me that agree on this fact and the fight and Manny's improvement of his jab ..no doubt the jab was fast and accurate....

well think of it this way. If he jabs like that he coundnt be counterpunched (just like tonight). He can score at will with that left straight just because its so fast throw it 5 times a round itll find the target at least twice.

Now if you engage and brawl, PAC will get the better of it. I see a complete fighter...His generalship was much better, he had MAB backing up the whole damn fight

I am in agreement with you...but I know most of the ESB'ers won;t be in agreement with us...to busy hating Manny rather than admiring his improvements!!!!

Ok, my impressions, and bear in mind they're a bit clouded after 5 pints of Guinness starting at 9am.

Thought the one point deduction was harsh.

Loudly screamed out bull**** when I heard two judges had it 118-109.

Thought up until the point deduction a case could be made for Marco squeaking out a decision.

Congrats to Manny but full credit to Barrera, fought a very smart fight, could've been a bit busier but definetely put Pac off his game. To fight a rematch after being ko'd the first time and then throwing the victor off like that I thought was a pretty decent effort. I'll admit I was going for Barrera so my scoring might be slightly biased in his favour but certainly don't feel the margin was that wide.

Still, after reading some of the posts of Barreras impending doom, I'm happy.

Most people here are ****in ignorant, if its not a KO they dismiss it, they dont know any better. For a fighter to mature and really had great movement out there like PAC, compared to his last fight with Sollis. he has improved. But people will say ohh he didnt KO MAB so JMM will kill him when in reality, if you know boxing. this is the type of PAC JMM wouldnt want/ JMM wants a reckless PAC

I am in disagreement with you, but since you qualify your statement do to your clouded judgement and your friend Guiness....I will let it go for now....

No worries mate, like I said I was already barracking for Barrera so I'll admit theres some bias there. Add some drinks...
But yeah, thought Manny won though still a little annoyed at the margin. But the day the judges cards match mine we might all be in trouble.
And score a small moral victory for MAB, a lot of people expected Manny to come out and swarm all over him, I thought he never let Manny settle for a decent exchange. When Manny did start to let his fists go he showed great movement and defense.

That fight was pretty boring, but not close. Barrera fought his fight, and lost convincingly. Anybody that thinks he won more than 2 rounds needs to watch it again. I don't think a criteria exists that would award MAB more than 2 rounds in that fight, all the talk about Mexican pride and revenge....and basically all we got was a guy avoiding any meaningful exchanges.

People are ignorant.. youre wasting time if you have logic in these ****in forums. PAC fought MABS style and he beat him handily. Had MAB brawled he would have gotten killed he almost did in the 11th

Similar to JMM fight he fought well, the rounds were close but he lost clearly those 2 fights.

MAB was never in the fight, not for a moment. He is technically better than Pac, but he can't handle the speed and he was scared of pac's power. He was in survival mode the entire fight. He just wanted to make it to the final bell.

It's funny how people like you see fit to criticise judges. Where do you get the balls?

    Well last time I checked..hang on...yep, they're still there.

Read that first sentence of mine again mate.
I'm at a loss though to how 'a little annoyed at the margin' is a critique of the judging. And if you read a little further you'll see how much I value my own scoring.
Still, sorry if my opinion didn't fit with yours.
