That was quite a night, but his trilogy with Morales is what I'll always think of first.

a master craftsman. A very smart fighter who actually learns from his previous defeat and come back a better fighter in his next fight. a complete package of a boxer-puncher in every sense. one of the most effective counter puncter in recent history. one who throws accurate and devastating combos from different angles. first rate footworks, excellent jab, superb outfighting and infighting abitlity, dynamic shifting of styles from a boxer-counter puncher to a power punching aggressor and vice versa. from jr jones to hamed to morales, MAB was simply master craftsman.

one of my all time faves, after thomas hearns.

he sounded arrogant but he just answered the question of the TS honestly. the thread doesn't specify to say only respectful things about mab. if someone remember him as a dirty fighter more than an ATG, so be it. its his memory.

He got a gift in the second fight. Morales easily out boxed him in that fight. So Morales 2 to 1 in my eyes.
Back to the original topic though... I remember Barrera getting a whooping from Junior Jones. I remember Barrera out boxing Hamed. I remember him talking **** about poor Mexicans. I remember him being turned into a ***** by Paq. I remember him giving up in the third Morales fight. I remember him taking the money to fight Paq but not showing up and giving us his fans a last fight to forget. I remember him making excuses for every single loss. I remember that I still love the guy despite alot of his bull****. One of the best but a dirty fighter who thought acted like a valley girl. Most Mexicans would agree with me.

I agree with you. Punching bags don't hit back ala Barrera vs Paq. But stop being an *******. Paq isn't all that great. He is lucky to have come into the pic when the legends were getting over the hill. Show respect. Try watching boxing outside of Paq you ****ing idiot.

3-0 MAB in my eyes, with the 2nd fight being closest.
