Barrera is a true warrior and has a complete career. He deserves to be considered an all time great. No Mexican boxing history will ever be complete without mentioning the guy. A highly intelligent boxing technician in the second half of a brilliant career, he has fought at the highest levels than most boxers can ever dream of. He had his full share of dirty tactics, probably more. It just depends on the person how to look at it, either winning at all costs or warrior spirit just not letting go without a fight.
I'll remember him as a man who alongside Erik Morales gave me the greatest trilogy I had ever seen. A man with the intensity, pride, bravado and determination to match his athletic abilities. A brawler who managed to recreate himself and master the balancing act of being both at the same time. I'd rather watch him and Morales face off in a game of go fish than some of the current "top guys" today.
MAB's an ATG and future HOF. He left us with some of the great and memorable fights(esp the one against naseem).
Brilliant Fighter, definately should be in future HOF. He was brill in the Hamed fight, he showed his boxing skills to the full.
Wow you said "Eat **** and die slow, cocksucker" to someone online. You are a true hero dude. Can I have your autograph?
:yep :yep I'm sorry for all of you who were hurt by what I said!!! But that's how I remind me of MAB. Remember I don't follow boxing since Tyson bites Holy's ear. First time I saw MAB was with Pac. MAB was Great in his own right. But I'm answering the thread starter question. How do I remember MAB??? OK I'll do it in the mild manner. As Pac greatest Win!!! Sorry guys!!!! Truth hurts!!!!:yep
Man, your fighter is a great warrior, much respect to him, but sometimes that "nuthugging" **** get irritating
Ill first remember him slapping around that loud-mouth Hamed. . . Sadly Ill also remember him running from Juarez and Pac in both rematches.
