MAB was looking for a big shot, Pac didn't want to give him the opportunity. Why should he, when he can just be cautious and box to the finish line? MAB can't fight bell to bell like he used to, he boxes and looks for the opening against guys that can hurt him. Fighters don't have to risk death for our entertainment in every fight.
oh.. imho MAB was at his very best at 122, probably during the years 1994-2000. He was an underrated boxer back in 94, 95 because he would just come straight at you and tear you up if he could, but if you watch the fights from back then he would slow it down and box beautifully when he thought he needed to. Jr. Jones just had his number, simple as that.
MAB's prime was at 122-126 lbs, but right now I see signs of slowness, not like what he used to be when he was an explosive super bantam and featherweight
