Mac Foster vs Gary Mason

This would be a slugfest that could go either way and it would be great while it lasted...

Start by looking at who they stopped, and when they stopped stopping people.

 

Mac is the safer bet.

 

Gary late !! Very good fight

 

I think Gary could do this, nice match up to.

 

My money is on Mason to grind out a late stoppage. Gary had a good chin and never gave up attidude. Will never forget the way he thru himself at Lewis in the 7th round in desperation trying to win even though he was in great pain. Foster didn´t show that determination against Quarry or Ali.

 

Mac in a very good fight. As long as it is not in England, going with Mac.

 

I like Foster's work better.

However the point should be made that Foster's career played out, while we perhaps never quite saw Mason's ceiling.

 

I wouldn't bet on Foster being able to take Mason's punch, and Gary ended up having much better wins despite his much shorter career.
