Anyone thinks that either Macca or Banks will be able to go the full route with cruiser weight's rising shooting star Alexeev??? Macca was knocked out by Haye in a very one-sided short affair whereas Banks luckily won a point decision against an average fighter from Italy. Alexeev has showed some bloody impressive performances knocking the living **** out of his poor opponents. Alexeev was a superstar at the amateurs- Odlanier Solis' great rival then.
In short, no. I think Maccarinelli will come through that fight. I'd be very suprised if he doesn't considering the American's **** poor stamina and defence. Maccarinelli will be doing another chicken dance should he fight Alexeev. He isn't getting much of a break with his matchmaking in the last few fights if Alexeev is installed as mandatory. Alexeev is too technically sound and too powerful, and also damn hard to hit.
i also have been very impressed with what ive seen of alexeev and think he would beat both those guys and might be the best cruiserweight in the game
Alekseev unfortunately is to small to step up into the HW in the next 3-4 years. Alekseev KO´s either Macca and Banks. No doubt...
You are right,alexander! Alexeev is unfortunetely too small to compete with the elite fighters at heavy weight. He has the necessary firepower to bomb most rivals out of the ring at heavy weight,but he just doesnt have the size to hold the forth against the huge top dogs like Vitaly or Valuev. I cant really see anyone at cruiser weight to beat him within the next few years.
