Haye said he was too weight drained at Cruiser, he was happy to fight Enzo but would have to be at HW.

Enzo before the fight said he wanted to fight the winner and after the fighte said he still wanted the fight in the future when he went up to HW but for now he was still a natural Cruiser, and would be giving Haye 2 stone at HW at the moment.

I mean by saying he would fight Enzo at HW but not Cruiser he is rejecting fighting him at Cruiser. Want went on before was mostly Warren's doing.

Nope....Haye and Maloney accepeted, so Warren made them an offer: option for the rest of Haye's career if he won......so we can basically say Warren was the one who didn't want the fight.

What program were you guys watching? Haye said he would fight Enzo at HW but not at Cruiser, Ezno said he makes Cruiser too easily to give Haye weight and fight at HW.

Theres no ducking going on, you could even make a case from those interviews that Haye is ducking Enzo at Cruiser as much as Enzo is ducking Haye at Heavy.

I am not talking about what went on before, which I agree was Warren's fault. What I am saying is people are calling Enzo a coward for not agreeing to fight at HW, but then why is Haye not a coward for not agreeing to fight Enzo at Cruiser.

I don't think either of them are actually cowards, its just this fight isn't going to happen until/ unless Enzo's natural weight is at HW and not Cruiser.

The simple fact is Haye has made it clear he is going up to Heavyweight and Maccrinelli has made it clear he is staying at the 14 stone 4lbs weight. Unless huge money is put on the table for Haye, then the fight is simply not going to happen.

Its not that simple though is it. Here we have Enzo, a man with a reputation for mismatches and blowouts, with a promoter who is very much safety first, saying he'll only fight him at cruiserweight. Lets be real, Enzo could make 205lbs, and if he thinks he can take David Haye then it shouldn't matter how much Haye weighs. Its not unreasonable to expect Enzo Mac to do that, if he makes cruiserweight so comfortably whats he got to be worried about in coming back down? Its not like Roy Jones Jnr and John Ruiz. RJ didn't moan, he did what he had to do, he thought he could beat Ruiz even though Ruiz is the naturally bigger man. Besides, its a LOT fairer and a LOT easier for Enzo to put on a few more pounds, hit the weights, than it is for Haye to lose that weight.

And if he's so much smaller than big bad David Haye why's he going round saying he can beat him? David Haye is still gonna be too big and strong for him even at 200lbs. Effectively what he's saying is "I can only beat David Haye when he's weight-drained and lethargic". What he's also saying is "I'm not prepared to do anything reasonable, like agree a catchweight of 205, 210 or 215lbs, in order to get this fight".

I'm sorry, if Enzo wants to fight Haye then he's gonna have to step up. Haye's the champion, Haye's the one with the respect. Haye's the big player on the world stage now. Haye just KO'd Jean-Marc Mormeck, what more can you ask for? Enzo needs Haye way more than Haye needs Enzo.

    Hey Ding,

Wouldn't this be the best time to push for a fight with Enzo? He'll be desperately looking for alternative opponents to Haye right now; Haye is out of the cruiserweight picture; you're probably the most credible opponent for Enzo whose name isn't "David."

Why?? Haye has just made the weight that Enzo wants to fight at only yesterday. Or is Haye just saying 'I can only beat Enzo with a 15lb weight advantage'

I'm not a Enzo fan or a Haye hater, but if these two guys want to fight at different weights from now on then thats just the way it is. They are both current Cruiser champs, its pretty reasonable that they should fight at Cruiser. RJJ went to HW for the belts, theres no belts in a Haye-Enzo fight at 210.
