Well, Hatton is a great example. He got knocked out whether it was with PBF or not. It does not matter who did it to you. You must take a tune-up fight before you take another title fight. Look, he took on Lazcano and he still looked bad. As another member just wrote, Lazcano is not what you call less effective fighter (bum). No shame in taking a tune-up. All greats have done it.

Calzaghe vs Cunningham would be a better fight.

I think he's making the point that all boxers have varied levels of opposition over the course of their career.

  7. True mate, Manfredo was a ****ing joke!!!

Still, seeing Manfredo almost take a win v Lacy was a shocker. But yes, Manfredo = Poop.

Enzo has not fought Cunnigham yet - premature praise - you seem over eager to give credit to Big Mac. I mean anyone can say you want to fight so and so - but theres a whole new step to actually fighting them and delievering.

Enzo said in the SOuth Wales Evening Post first he wanted to get his WBO World Championship Belt back cos he misses being a World Champion (paper title). Then he wants Cunnigham in Swansea's liberty stadium with 20,000 swansea jacks roaring him on. Sounds like wishful thinking to me - it will not happen I believe.

He had his big oppurtunity in fighting Haye - and he flopped - was exposed - and quickly knocked out - and done the chicken dance to just cap off a awful bight.

He might be damaged goods after that - maybe not physically but psycologically it has to effect you a bit losing in such a manner.

He needs to come back and prove himself first - but fighting bums is a waste of time we know he can beat them. But Frank Warren is a **** and I am more sure that Warren will sucumb to his bad habit of just finding any old late replacent of TBA for Enzo to fight next. He should fight Mormeck or Cunnigham but based on his last fight I think he loses to both.

I beleived in Enzo but he has been exposed and now I have serious doubts he was the real thing - paper champion at most.

Forget Haye the chance came and went.

Enzo will not fight Cunnigham next - well he might - but I would not get your hopes up.

    Its just talk.

Macc can wait in line and get KO'd by Adamek.

He wants USS because he is the least likely to KO him of the title holders.

Adamek fought and won an eliminator against Bell for the right to fight Cunningham.Main Events pushed for an earlier showdown between Adamek vs Cunningham for this summer(they are supposed to meet in September)but they turned him down.

Sorry but you just got KO'd easily in 2 rounds.Macc is no position to call out a title holder and have him fight in his hometown.

    Well said.

Macc can wait his turn to get knocked out Tomasz Ulrich style by Tomek Adamek. Mac has done NOTHING to earn a shot vs Steve.

Anyways if this fight does happen, Steve will win on points. Unless hes fighting in Wales, but it depends..

totally agree and i also agree that no boxer should be called a bum, it takes a lot of balls to get in that ring and for that they will always get my respect:thumbsup
