Get freddie roach as trainer! i mean he has what it takes but someone has to kick his ass bad! He sounds confident outside the ring but when it comes to fight he is scary!
Roach would never waste his time on a chinny chump like Enzo Mac. He's finished, and if he goes to the UFC he won't last one round, those guys have serious punch resistance.
Big Mac is finished I'm afraid. As someone else has said, it was all over after the Haye defeat. If he'd won that, who knows what would have happened to his career. He's been in the last chance saloon for a while now though. The fact he's been easily stopped in his his last 3 main fights proves he's now quite a bit short at anything above British level. Decent cruiserweight in his time - nothing more I'm afraid.
Zab can't be compared to him. Zab had the samething happen to him with KT and he still managed to do well at WW and win the titles at a second weight class and all though he lost to the elite at WW at least he did his best. Mac is losing to guys I never heard of.
Enzo has had a good 10 year career and made the most of what talent he has but he needs to walk away now. The Russian battered him badly without doing anything special, just the basics. When a fighter can't handle that he either quits or becomes fodder for up and coming fighters.
Macca is not, and never was, particularly talented. He was always chinny, always leaky defense, but beat some decent opposition.
in fairness to the guy Warren sacrificed him to the wolves twice both his last fights were to massively underrated fighters, both of which were also in warrens stable. shouldve had comebacks against shitter people he decided to cash out on mac and even if mac did pull it out he wouldnt lose any cash
Exactly. Lebedev wasn't even good, he needed 3 rounds to realize just how easy to hit Macca was. Every jab of him snapped Enzos head back, and it was not a really powerful, Wlad-style jab. Though, it's up to him if he wants to restart himself, starting to BOX instead of trying to get his opponent out of there with crude boxing. He took way harder shots from Haye before that one nailed him with a lot of unanswered punches, all it took was one good powershot from Lebedev, and he was done. Just like Miranda took a barrage of concussing punches from Abraham in the first fight, making it through 12 rounds, while a couple of hard shots later, every good punch from Abraham buckled or floored him. You obviously can take only that number of hard punches, and then it's over, either you can defend from getting hit then, or you retire.
