He seems a nice guy and Haye is a touch arrogant.

But as a boxing fan Im glad Haye won. Simply because he fights tougher fights and takes on bigger challenges.

I was rooting for Enzo and i watched it with a mate who is a big Haye fan and after the fight he wound up hating Hayes arrogance.

I think all the way through the promotion Enzo was respectful and Haye was arrogant. Look he is obviously a talent but he is even showing the heavyweight sheer disdain, its gone from confidence to arrogance.

I think Haye is cocky but if you walk the talk, you have a right to be. Haye went to France and beat up the man. He also had the strength to get off the canvas when Mormeck almost finished him. Against Macca, he did exactly what he said he'd do. He didn't say one thing that he didn't actually do...did he? So he wasn't arrogant, just cocky.

Haye is cocky, but he is not delusional. He freely admits his chin is not the best. He knows he can be downed and stopped by a hard on the button. But he is right that given the level of the HW division at the moment, his speed and haymaker could do some damage. Yeah, he's cocky for US TV - he's trying to sell himself; after all, no one in the USA knows who he is at all, and if you don't talk yourself up in the States, they think you're not good enough...

Cocky - yeah, unrealistic - no. He walks the talk and doesn't pretend he cannot be beaten himself. His arrogance is not delusional - all that matters.

I wish Haye all the best. :good

I don't mind a bit of arrogance. All the top fighters are like that. Hell I would be arrogant if I had just blown away my bitter rival in two rounds.

I would rather someone who talks big and livens things up than Jermain 'I have no personality' Taylor.

Im glad Haye won. Iv been a fan of him since the Amatuers. He is arrogant but in reality i would be too if id won "the Ring" belt, the WBO WBA and WBC after beating Mormeck and Enzo by KO in under 25 fights. His got the record of a prospect with so few fights. Props to him. But i do believe he will come down with a bump at heavy. Haye gets a little too **** sure but his got the talent and the right ingridients to be a world beater so no real complaints from me.

Nearly a completely different ending. I can imagine this message board would have a lot quieter if that shot had actually touched his skin.

    true...

But Haye would have gotten up off the canvas from the best Enzo had to offer, if it was just a one off, I think. So I wasn't too woried before the fight about Macca's puncher's chance.

Excelent performance from Haye. Booth talks a lot of sense.

Macca will get another belt soon. After Haye migrates to HW there is really no one of note at CW besides Yoan Hernandez and he still has a lot to prove. USS Cunningham is nothing wow.

Here we go, Macca wobbled Haye  just like Hatton made PBF lose balance and sort of wobble in the 1st.

Stop grasping at what might have been etc and face reality. The best man won and nothing Enzo did in those few minutes really was of much consequence.
