That was a violent shot Enzo took. ****ing hell he actually did well to get up from that given Frenkel is not exactly a light hitter - or so his record suggests.

The way I read it at the time was that Enzo didn't want to go out from boxing laid out with an oxygen mask on his face. I just think he wanted to try and get to his feet, show a brave face, he knew this was probably his last ever time in the ring.

Of course we will never know the real reason, but it was one hell of a brutal knock down and Enzo did well to recover as quickly as he did.

Kool, you are a ****ing Mong.

Enzo desperately tried to clinch, so had something there. But 'duke it out'???

The man was gone and it shouldn't have got that far. WTF were you watching?

Maybe Kool may have been judging it from that video, where they showed the second knockdown first then the first one second. That would make more sense about this misunderstanding, because Enzo could barely stumble forward before the second knockdown let alone get on his bike and survive.

I don't think he was even aware enough to think about his image or not going out with a oxi mask on him. My reading of it was that he thought he was still fighting and fending off the opponent. I've seen it happen before when Vincent Pettway KO'd Simon Brown...very distressing!

Ezno was nothing like that though, he wasn't throwing mythical punches, he had hold of the mask and was pushing it away, he looked to me as if he was well aware of what it was, but just couldn't get it all together to stand up, to fully coordinate himself. He was repeatedly just trying to get to his feet, despite people wanting him to stay on the ground, he eventually made it up and sat down.

It was a brutal knockdown, no doubt, but I don't think Enzo looked that much out of it relatively, not like Hatton did vs Pac or in the clip you play above.

Boxers get KO'ed, that's just the nature of the game, it's a tough game.

It was a vile knockdown, the ref should have stopped it beforehand, no mistake, but I don't think we should all faint everytime a boxer gets knocked down. By accounts, Enzo's perfectly OK and he says he may give boxing another go.
