It's true. If he hadn't had taken a nap in the 9th he would have won comfortably. He was ahead by a margin of about 7 or 8 points. That tells you a lot about Afolabi's performance up until the stoppage. Having said that, he took his chance well and best of luck to him but he's very far from world class.

The commentators said that he was ahead by 7 points, but I disagree. I think Afolabi won several early rounds that weren't credited by the biased commentators, rounds where Enzo was doing nothing. Enzo is nothing like as good as they say he is, even though he's a nice guy.

So you thought Afolabi was winning the fight?

He wasn't winning the fight but he certainly wasn't down by 7 points like Jim Watt had it, I think I had Macca up by 2 points at the start of the 9th.

All this crap about Enzo being tired after the first round is just that too - crap.

He was hurt badly in, I think, the 3rd round too. He had to lock onto the ropes to stay upright. I'd probably pick Afolabi in a rematch.

Why? He certainly looked like he was. He's not the type of fighter to make excuses. Check out his comments after the Haye defeat, he's not too proud to give credit where it's due.

Neither was I. He lost focus for sure but he's a better fighter than Afolabi and I hope he gets the chance to prove it in a rematch.
