He needs to fight someone who can give him some sort of credability.

No point in fighting the likes of Bobby Gunn et al.

He should take a small break, a relatively easy first fight then a contender to gain a mandatory spot for mid 2009. He's still a decent cruiser. I dont see anyone else that could do what Haye did to him.

Any of the options you posted is OK. Cruiserweight is not so deep, he should not fight a complete bum. Maybe one tuneup, then a Bell, Adamek, Fragomeni or Mormeck fight. That could land him a belt straight away. Cunningham is overrated.

I don't think the WBA, WBC or IBF will do Enzo any favours after the poor showing on Sunday morning. Whether he froze, was exposed or simply caught cold, i don't care. He lost. It was an excellent finish by Haye. Once your in that corner, you don't get out.

I see a WBU title fight shortly, even a vacant WBO shot. However, I would think Herbie Hide will be a champ within 18 months now.

    Macca versus Hide anyone ?

I think the gutsiest move for Enzo would be to fight Cunningham.

But Enzo vs Hide could be a very interesting scrap.
Hide is past his best years and has more wear & tear than Haye, but on the other hand he still has much of his power and hand speed.

Maybe give Ismail Abdoul a try, then?

    EDIT - oh, I didn't know he'd already fought Abdoul...got a UD12 as well.
