theres a simple reason why Enzo has no opponent yet. money.

Enzo cannot draw **** outside of wales after the Haye loss, and niether can Audley Harrison against a journeyman. So they have sold **** all tickets, and the show is not gonna make a profit, so the amount of cash FW has to spend on a decent opponent for Enzo is limited.

does this mean Enzo is gonna end up fighting some part time doorman on a low purse?

You do know your crusade against the WBO is pointless, it's not like everyones going to go, 'oh yeh, that guy from the internet is right. Let's spread the word and stop people counting it as a World title' .

As I previously said the best thing is to recognize as many titles till people finally see them for what they all are.......pointless .

    WBC, GBU........same difference they're both much .

I heard Macklin's sold quite a few tickets, then again that's what you'd expect in Birmingham but it is a big arena(13,000) so it's not surprising that they are struggling to fill it with:
    Maccarinelli v TBA
    Harrison v Rogan
    Macklin v Cheka
    Anderson v Powers
    Rees v TBA
    Curtis Woodhouse v TBA
    Don Broadhurst v TBA
    Thomas Costello v TBA
    Denton Vassell v TBA

Not too big a deal really. He's only after a confidence builder really. Hopefully it won't be aganist an actual builder, but we all know FW. Leave Mac get the win under his belt and he can move forward from there. Regardless of what you think of him, the man had the balls to fight the best man in the division. A win here gives him some momentum and he can look to a fight against another top 15 or even 10 opponent in the not too distant future.

While your wonderful idea of a utopian, alphabet-less society is appealing, like it or not we do need some form of official rankings. If we recognised your system how would one get a shot at the title unless they were lucky enough to be granted one? Wheres the structure? The Ring magazine?

Also your snide dig is noted. Lots of other people don't recognise the WBO just as lots of people do recognise we need some form of official rankings. Lets face it, that magazine's own little crusade is not working, is probably causing more confusion & the fact it's run by an active fighter leaves it just as flawed.

when this fight was announced it was only ever scheduled to be a 10 rounder.i think it was only designed to get him back in the mix.i never had high hopes for a big name tbh.

I picked Mac on the basis of Haye struggling badly against Fragomeni. But as Haye himself has said he struggles more with short stocky fighters than tall beanpoles like Enzo.
