    Cardiff International Arena, Cardiff, Wales
Enzo Maccarinelli vs. Wayne Braithwaite (WBO Cruiserweight Championship)
    Koba Gogoladze vs. Alex Arthur

Enzo is a huge guy for a Cruiserwt. Thats all I know about him. What important facts should we know going into this fight? Braithwaite is no bum, but he does disrespect his opponents by sticking his huge tongue out at them.

So who wins & why? I guess we here in the US will not see this potentially good fight.

I think this is Braithwaite's final chance at being a top level competitor.

Very close match up, mainly because Enzo hasnt been let anywhere near this type of oponent before. Braithwaite on the other hand has pretty much been there and got the t shirt. Great fight style wise aswel and belive totally we'll see a KO.

Im edging towards Enzo, down to youth, but Braithwaite has more than enough power to put Macc away imo.

I hope Big Truck wins. He deserves a title after robbery against Jones. Both guys hit very hard. Wayne has great chin but I dont know how good chin has Enzo :huh . That will be great fight :yep

Big Truck is a big ? at this point, but this could be a war.

Braithwaite doesn't take a backward step, he can jab when he wants to, but mostly just throws big right hands. Ditto Enzo. Someone is getting knocked out.

I too think youth will prevail, but an upset wouldn't surprise me.

Robbery? I'm a Braithwaite fan but he was laying on the ropes eating right hands with no response. Nothing wrong at all with that stoppage

This one has kinda snuck up on me...I'm a bit surprised ITV haven't been making more of it. They've given praise and airtime to Maccarinelli in the past, while Braithwaite is a former champion after all. I thought they'd play it up bigger than they have done.

I've seen Macc fight a few times, but not Braithwaite...so this should be an interesting one for me!

You've never seen Braithwaite? He's an entertaining fighter. Rangy, good power, strong. His problem has been inactivity.

They're both big question marks. Braithwaite is a question mark because he's starting to wash up, but Macca is entirely untested, and has fought worse opposition than some guys who aren't even top 30 fighters in the division. I'm guessing Macca can't handle the BIG step up, and that Braithwaite will be able to withstand his power. Braithwaite by UD, unless the ref pulls that early stoppage bull**** that's so prevalent with Frank Warren fighters.

Wayne isn't that old... he'll be 32 in August.. And he's only had 1 fight in almost 2 years... So he's had time to rest up from 2 tough fights..

On the same token, If Enzo has a good right hand, he may win.. Remember round 1 where Guillermo was landing right hands at will...

For now, I'ma go with Wayne by decision... This is a big step up for Enzo..

Braithwaite is confounding. His management must go crazy when he goes into those inactive lapses during fights. So much talent and so much careless disregard for his opponents. I actually thought at one time he had the stuff to clean out the division but I suspect he must slack off on training somewhat because of his behavior in the ring.

I'm at the point with Braithwaite that I'm not sure what to expect. He has the chin, power and toughness to give anyone fits but it's just a question of whether he stays focused. He seems to forget he's in a boxing match sometimes. His clowning around doesn't help either.

that was round 1.. the last round, Jones didn't land anything clean... and if you look at him after the stopage, you'll see that he was still good to go... However, I did hear the ref say show me what you got.. None the less, nothing effective was being landed cleanly at that time..

I got 2 words for you... DON KING... And last I heard, his mom was his manager and that created a riff between his trainer and his mom... She's worried too much about other people making money off of him.... I have to find the article again... Something along those lines, I remember reading on another site.. He's been waiting for fights, he could have mad 175 but that's not possible now.... He does a lot of weird things in the ring.. mainly turning from conventional to southpaw at random... he does it every round and it never fails....

Maccarinelli has a questionable chin. Braithwaite should be able to take advantage of that.

    Braithwaite by KO

Christ, you guys are seriously underestimating Enxo :/ Hes got one of the worlds best trainers and is fighting an aging inactive guy. Enxo knocks him out early and easily.
