I like Machida, but as Shogun said he lacks a defence against punches, also dont know if I am wrong but he seems to really like just throwing a left straight, its a bit predicable, which was countered by Shogun, people are expecting now.

I'm not an MMA fan, but when I saw Machida fight I did become a fan of his highly technical style of fighting. I thought he got robbed in his last fight (see MMA guys boxing isn't the only sport that has robberies). Now that he's fighting Mr.T from the new A-Team movie, what are his chances of winning the fight? And if he wins, what are his chances of making it back to the top as light heavy champ?

Actually, he fought "Mr. T from the new A-Team movie" in his last fight. Next up for Machida is Randy Couture, whom you may know from The Scorpion King: Rise of a Warrior.

I said a long time ago he had a poor boxing defence. I thought Rampage could be the man but Rampage stayed with his big ko approach so there was no finesse about his work. Shogun said he threw loads of sequences and quickly find his timing. Good on him.

Machida should spark Couture in one round if he fights to the best of his ability. If he is all tentative, he could lose an ugly decision.
