Who wins? Machida totally dominated Sokoudjou, is 12-0 and has looked really impressive.

I never thought much of Karate in MMA utill I seen him fight. Machida was kicking Sokoudjou all over the place and was way too quick.

I think Tito has one last hurrah and Machida has an off night.

im pickin lyoto over tito because he's currently on a roll (12-0). Momentum's on his side and he has a very good overall defense. he picks his movement in the ring well and he has a relatively high hit accuracy.

I dont know it just seems like Tito Ortiz isnt as good as he used to be although that was overatted ill admit. He used to have a quicker shot now the ACL and Back problems have seemed to make him slow as molasses. Hes been off for awhile by the time this fight is made it will have been 10 months removed from the Rashad Evans fight and hopefully Tito has learned to stop over training I mean christ running, weight lifting,800 situps,boxing,kick-boxing,wrestling,bjj all in one day 6 days a week for 2 months is stupid he needs to space things out a bit the guys obviously burning himself out. Thats way at 31-32 he moves like hes 50 in the octagon now unless its agianst the even slower 75 year old Ken Shamrock. If Tito can get his edge back mentally and phyiscally I think we have a dam close fight on our hands. However the one ive seen recently is too slow with his far away takedown attempts to take the very elusive Lyoto Machida to the ground and he cant use his striking to get inside but its not very good and he isnt quick enough on his feet. I hope Tito can pull it out but I see a fairly boring UD win for Machida.

tito is shot. the match against evans showed that. evans was ripe for the picking but tito fialed to finish him. he was breathing heavily in the third round. i think lyoto takes him out in two

Lyoto is very fast on the ground. You can take him down, but maintaining dominance on him isn't very easy.. Tito is very good at that, but if you don't mount him quickly of a takedown he's either right back on his feet, or in dominant position himself. Saw how quickly he mounted Soko, after Soko took him down.. Lyoto has very good ring generalship and awareness in the ring.

Doesn't set to strike, and I think will pick Tito appart.. I'll be Soko is far more powerful and dynamic than Tito in the clinch.. Tito without a shoot isn't that dangerous to a guy like Lyoto, who just demolished a Judoka and had an answer for everything a Judoka had in the clinch..

I would currently take Machida to win and pretty well too. It could be a good fight.

I hope Machida wins the most boring decision in history so I can laugh at everyone who hates him.

Machida wins. He has all the momentum, considering their last three performances (Matchida beat that guy... damn I forgot his name, while Ortiz hasn't won terribly convincingly in years).

Matchida has a great style. Very unique, using Shotokahn Karate and Brazilian Jui-Jitsu. The guy's fantastic, and I think he'll be sticking around.

How does Tito win?? He aint hitting Machida.. Machida will hit him...Its a question of Tito taking Machida down and keeping him there. Two years ago that would have been highly possible not now. What I want to see is Tito get subbed

That would be a big statement since Titos never been submitted. This is a dumb fight for Ortiz im not short why hed take it unless he just wants a paycheck. Style wise this is the worst opponet out there for him.

I think Machida decisions him. Ortiz won't be able to ground and pound him long enough to get the points needed to win. Machida will rack up some points on the feet, and squirm out on the ground. It won't be a very exciting fight, I don't think, but a solid win for Lyoto.

Tito hasn't done much since beating up Ole' Ken, or barley beating a green Griffin, Tito is another Dinosaur who's game hasn't evolved much. Machida should win a competitive fight, but I don't see how Tito has what it takes to beat Machida.
