Machida vs Spider would be a better fight. Silva is a big middleweight and he has shown he can fight at 205. GSP is too small for silva who is a big middleweight.

Silva is a great striker and has great BJJ. I see him knocking GSP out cold.

think theres a good chance that we get to see both. the UFC wants to have Silva-GSP in Toronto towards the end of the year then have Silva move up to 205.

Silva owns GSP at MW. Machida vs Silva would be the more interesting match-up. I think it would bring out the best in them both. Although being as they are both counterstrikers, some mugs would no doubt call it a boring fight. They should probably do it in Japan where they actually appreciate the skills. Some Americans just don't deserve to see these guys.

(and I don't mean all of you so don't get your knickers in a twist guys:good)

Due to size - Spider v Dragon.

GSP is a ****ing bad man. I'd love to see if he can take his game up a level but the 15 pound jump is a serious one.

I still vote for GSP vs Anderson Silva - because I have wanted to see that fight for so long. I say the winner of GSP/Silva goes after Machida.

i would rather see Machida vs Spider as i think the spider would destroy gsp just because of the size difference. I feel both men should go ahead and step up to a new weight class just for new challenges of figthers. They already dominated their weight class and not much for them there. Specially the spider

For me its GSP vs Spider. Because I know GSP will fight with no fear and give his all vs Anderson Silva, even if he fails to win.

I couldnt say the same for Spider vs Machida where Spider would play it safely and would lose.

I'm pretty much in agreement with most posters on this site. GSP vs Spider would be a mismatch. And being a proud Canadian who's a big fan of GSP, I don't get any enjoyment out of say that. IF GSP could get into a ground and pound situation he could win, but I just don't consider it likely.

Spider vs Machida would, in my opinion, be the more interesting of the two. It seems in terms of their stand up they have a similar approach but completely different skills. Both come from the school of hit but don't get hit but I think Spider needs to get inside to be most effective where as I think Machida can do damage either way.

lol gsp would defenitely get KTFO vs silva. Anderson vs machida would be a pretty good match up. Both are pretty good strikers and machida has shown more offense his last couple of fights.

This fight might start slow much like the machida-evans fight but it will pick up and somebody will most likely get KTFO.
