I believe they tried to get a better opponent, Bika would have been a better choice, BTW, who is Froch's IBF mandatory??

**** sake give Froch some credit and there is no to ways about it Froch has definately tweaked his style, Froch knows he is at the end of his career and puts everything into his attacks, knows he can take a shot and knows he can hurt any man in that ring, i definately see Froch doing better in a rematch with Ward..
Ask me something would of Joe C had Mack out that early...

For sure. Mack was outgunned and outclassed in a way we rarely see.

Froch is always a pleasure to watch, and I understand he wanted an easier fight after a crazy run... but Mack was a little too low level. A Sartison, Bika or someone like that would have been good.

Yes, he would have. Mack was completely out of his depth, as anybody with a brain knew beforehand. This was a nothing fight. Shame on Froch's promoter, he deserves better than this dross.:dead:barf

And he hasn't tweaked his style, he fights like he always has done. You are just regurgitating the twaddle from that awful Sky commentator. :verysad

Froch was never going to choose an opponent that could jeapordise the Bute rematch, why would he? Some fighters make whole careers out of fighting guys like Mack, Froch does it as an exception and he still gets stick :patsch

That said, it looked to me like Mack took the easy way out, until I see replays of that body shot anyway. The first KD looked like a slip, or went to ground to avoid the onslaught.

I have watched Froch from the start, he is definately going in harder now theres no ifs or buts. If its such a ****ing bad fight what does it make of most super middleweights careers, yeah exactly.
Whos gonnar want to fight Froch at the moment.

A fit and well Kessler will beat him again. Ward will throughly outbox him. If Dirrell ever gets his act together, he will outbox Froch again. These are irrefutable truths, and I am speaking as a Froch admirer.:deal

Now, please refrain from needless profanity. Some of us are here for some stirring gentlemanly boxing discourse. There is also a requirement for basic grammar, spelling, and punctuation levels. Sadly, you have been found sorely wanting in those areas thus far.:rofl:oops:

Has nothing to do with anything. Different styles. Joe's hands were so wrecked he couldn't land a full shot without something breaking. But I bet he could have had Mack out of there with just as little bother.

Cloud and Johnson needed longer to get Mack out of there when he was fresher and at a more comfortable weight. Does that mean Mack was weight-drained?

If you want to run someone's win down, it cuts both ways.

Kessler wont beat him, Dirrel was the most skilled boxer out there but throughly dissapointed on the night, fancy running for 12 rounds, boxing isnt for everyone chap esspecially for those that lack a heart..
