It does seem odd how Warren only pays attention to like two or three at a time, though I guess they are all like that, Hennessy is as well.

I remember saying this to Icemax a bit ago when Lenny Daws was on a ten rounder - we want to see what Witter is doing..... not Daws, or you could match the pair of them rather than giving Witter that joke Argiebargie!

Maloney probably spreads the wealth better than most, but he probably has the largest stable.

I doubt Hatton is going to get him any bigger fights. Unelss GBP can set stuff up.

Warren has the biggest stable and pays the most other than Hayemker who will need to cut fighters or purses.

Maloney has said he pays the least.

Its official Macklin is an idiot. I dont like Warren at all but this is a fantastically stupid move if true.

Don't know why everyone thinks Hatton will be a bad promoter, he manged to con most of the British public into thinking he would beat Mayweather :D

Hatton's probably offering a good deal.

Willing to outlay a lot of money initially to get it up and running

I think Macklin was promoted by Brian Peters for a while before he moved to Warren. I will be honest I thought he would of been fighting better fighters with Warren than he has done.
With Peters there was a chance of a Duddy fight on the cards but it never happened. I think if Macklin stayed with Peters he would of boxed for a Europen title by now. Never mind a British title. I think it would be a good move for Macklin to team up with Hatton he will be Hattons type of fighter. I think Hatton may well get Macklin the fights he wants.

The problem will be getting world title shots.

He is hardly popular with them, is he?

Vacating IBF abd WBA belts twice because the mandos weren't good enough, pushing Jose Sillyman at the Mayweather weigh in, and being the arch enemy of WBO director Frank Warren.

Hatton hasn't proved anything as a promoter yet. Very unwise for Macklin at this point, from a career point of view anyway. Warren just seemed ignore him? Macklin in my opinion is one of our best propects so I don't know why?

Macklin should of just waited for the Barker fight and then after that weighed up his options as that fight will bring great rewards for the winner.

    Done deal....

I'm very excited to see if Hatton, Hayemaker and Hennesey can bring back the glory years.

The commonwealth and area belts have been devalued enough by certain promoters and now we have the European title been pilaged by Maloney/munroe.

I think new promotional outfits can only be good for the sport. With new promotional companies will come new ideas regarding match making and titles.

Its gone stail lets change it for the better.

Yeah his fight against Darren McDermott was a final eliminator, so Barker vs Macklin should be on the cards soon.
