That's exactly why Martinez will blow him out, if he was a more patient, defensively aware boxer I'd imagine he could last the distance. Sadly he is not.

    WAR Macklin. :bbb

Would love to see Maklin shock him but after Martinez' last showing I think he will put on a show this time out :s

I wonder if he will apply the full guard Barker did but with more aggression.

ye maybe i should qualify that a bit, i mean he comes to fight but hes a tough guy, dont think he'll be blown out easily, he'll stick in for 12 i think and do alright i think, but then im a big macklin fan

If people think he's going to fight the same way against Sturm against Martinez they're sadly mistaken!

Any talk of throwing the kitchen sink at Martinez in Moore/Sturm like fashion is a massive blag!

He knows what he's doing! The key here is knowing WHEN to pressure and be patient early on....

When Martinez is at his strongest and can lay some serious damage down? Yeah, really good idea...

Well, Matthew has almost no advantages late in the fight, he needs to go after Sergio's body early ready for his usual mid-rounds fade. Then he can lay the pressure on, but trying to get it all done in those three rounds when Matthew's is no puncher... just bad tactics.

I've said it once, and I'll say it again.

I GUARANTEE that Macklin will win.
