Macklin on course to fight Sergio Martinez on Paddys Day

Martinez would spark Macklin.

Well, at least getting robbed didn't ruin Mack's career. It'll give him a bit less bargaining power, but if he gets the chance vs Martnez, that's as much as he could've asked for if he'd gotten the nod vs Sturm.

Martinez found himself in similar situations where he landed a big fight after a questionable/bad decisions and made the most of it, so let's see how Maclin does with the opportunity. I don't see him beating Sergio, but the fights aren't fought on paper.

 

I had a feeling this would happen. No complaints though, Macklin had a good showing against Sturm in a fight I thought he won
