It looks to me like he wants the straight forward title shot, and no risky fights before it !

    I've given up on Macklin.

    Crap card now.

The only thing that may entice me to buy the card is that I've always liked McCloskey.

Won't be making any concious effort though.

Agreed, although you still get bigger fights than that for free on Sky so it was a bit marginal. Khan is happy to give the fans a homecoming fight as long as they pay well for it.

Macklin is never going to have achievements to match up to his own opinion of his own talent, he spends too much time looking for the safe option.

I quite like Khan and want him to do well internationally, but I have to say that all the mucking about over money in finding him an opponent for this card, and now Macklin bottling (he'd be on the map if he won this big, in his position I would take the fight for a tenner... unless I thought I was going to lose) and the fact that McCloskey seems a lovely bloke, I would love McCloskey to stop Khan, could be good news all round. I'm just glad that I am away when this card is on so I don't have to risk giving into temptation to pay up just in case.

Macklin is so frustrating half it isnt his fault half of it is. He has had people pull out on him which is understandable but if he had stayed with Warren he would have fought Barker by now and if he won im sure Warren has the money and the influence to get something going for him. Instead he hoped to go to the states and build a name and thats fallen through. He just needs to stick with someone and run with it

The Card was good, but now is very poor.I expect i will end up paying for it in the hope that McCloskey can make it interesting at least, but the ppv could be a major disappointment if the main event is ****.

he isn't beating Golovkin if he goes for the regular title.
