    Fact is if he loses to Asikainen tonight then he ain't got anywhere else to go then Fight Barker and the way he talking Barker might just go ''who needs you'' and go on his own path. I don't blame him for fighting Asikainen at all but he can't go on as if Barker's all hype the kid is talented and classy operator and someone who's approaching European level with each fight that passes.

    I was sad to see Macklin v Barker fall through but going for the Euro makes sense. However publicity wise Macklin would have done much better with Barker.

    Macklin did the right thing for his career, bigger fight prob more cash higher ranked oppo etc - no brainer really

    Dont see how Barker is a cockney muppet for wanting the fight though :huh and its not like they've shouted weve been ducked from the roof tops, sure Barker knows the score.

    Lets just hope Macklin makes first defence againt the Dazzler

    Really nice matchup on paper, I'm excited for this.

    Amin's skills are a little bit tighter IMO, he has a nice long jab and punches straight and hard. Macklin for my money is faster and tougher, Asikainen can be broken down fairly quickly once you've seen past his better work.

    I wasnt saying the Macklin was calling Baker a cockney muppet. I was saying that those that I spoke to that claimed Macklin was ducking Barker for Amin have tended to be mockney muppets
