    Exactly and Macklin is never going to agree to those terms because he is not in the same position as he was prior to their first fight.

    Macklins stock has increased, Sturms has decreased - especially in Germany where there was a real negative reaction to the result.

    Spot on.

    It's a shame we don't get to see the rematch but I was always sceptical as to whether we would. Some good fights for Macklin elsewhere anyway.

    Definitely after that result would you really want to fight in Germany again?? For the record i had Sturm winning it by a point iirc
