    I haven't seen the fight yet but just wanted to comment on the above post. There was 26 seconds left in the round, the referee has no stop-watch and if the fight is over in his eyes, ie the fighter is in no condition to adequately protect himself then he has no option but to stop the fight.

    Same goes for the comments about it being a european title - the title doesn't come into the equation: it's about a fighters health

    He'd beat Sylvester or Sturm.

    Sturm is nothing great. Macklin would beat him purely on aggression, Sturm doesn't do enough.
