I was at them both and they were both poor. I've put Barkers down as injury and a learning experience, I think he will come back from it better. Like I said even before Macklins fight I thought it would be a comfortable points win for barker.
I think Macklin really want the fight so I think it will happen. I think Lee's team should be really pushing in the media for a fight with Macklin if Barker isn't going to be ready.
I was. I made a bet with the pissed bloke behind me that A-Force would win. I made him give me the money first as he was behind me. It seemed I was the only one in the crowd (certainly where I was sat) that noticed Audley was injured from the second round. The bloke behind me was giving me endless **** untill that hail-mary punch came:yep!!! Next time you are going to a card you'll have to let me know, would be good to put a face to the name (preferably one that doesn't have Haye's man sausage in it as per your avatar). Lee's team could be doing far more in the press IMO if they really wanted the Macklin fight.
Also I was at Evangelou's last fight at York hall and he was poor IMO. Not targeting his shots properly and just throwing to the arms etc. Not really setting anything up. HE seemed more interested in trying to sell tickets that night. Have seen good and bad in him, hopefully he will come good.
Was gonna go Groves card but after the DeGale duck I won't bother. I agree....Lee is not pushing for big fights.
He has, even as recently as last week on live radio... I dont know where Rob gets his information from....
Maybe its not Lee's style but he needs to start making some noise. A fighter between Lee vs Barker/Macklin is nowhere near as big as it could be.
