Called out DeGale for 2 years, is offered a career high pay day to fight him but refuses as its not on his promoters card. Thats a clear duck.

Will see what warren puts together. If its a mega card I might not go as I wouldnt be able to get to the excel until 8-9pm on a saturday cos i play football.

Even if you hear of offers its usually bull****. Nobody can know for certain if someone was givena legitimate offer unless you are privvy to that information.

Maybe the offers haven't been made by Lee, maybe they have. I dont know. But he's certainly not afraid to fight anyone. I feel he's probably looking to stay on the american side of things at the moment, and is looking for options stateside....whether he gets them or not is another thing

wether or not they are genuine you don't even hear of any from Lee. All you ever hear is 'iwould like to fight........'

With the backing that he has got if they wanted the fights I think he would be able to get them!!!

I've heard that but I really can't see them making that at any other time than Paddy's day. Financially they would be just chucking a load of wedge down the bog!!!

I no mate Adam Booth is the Anti Christ of boxing right now. As long as Groves keeps his mouth shut about DeGale from now on its not a problem.

Have heard that to but the fight makes no sense being on an undercard in New York.

Surley they could sell the 02 in Dublin and make 2/3 times the cash???

    You're so melodramatic.

No reason this need to be made now, it could be huge in the future. Of course I would like to see it now.

But if I got my Christmas gifts now I would have nothing to open on the big day!!! (usually a lump of coal).

I agree the fight shouldnt get made yet but pisses me off when a fighter spends months calling people out but doesn't back it up.

Yes they could, but for Lee I think its got a lot to do with American profile at this stage. So a show in Dublin wouldn't do it for him. Also, being on the undercard for a big fight on a major network could pay divedends...

The Paddy's day thing is a good idea(If in america on a decent network), but i'm assuming they've looked at the financial aspect of taking it as an undercard, and presumably it will work for them....

It could sell out as a headliner in the smaller venue at MSG , it would sell the o2 but I think HBO could come in for it if its on paddys weekend in New York , HBO were going to put Duddy-Ronald Hearns on so I cant see why they wouldnt be intrested in this fight as the Yanks love nothin but a bit Paddy whackerey on Paddys week and you cant get any better than two good Irish middleweights knocking the head off each other in New york on paddys day , I know I for one will definatley head over to New york if the fight gets made !!

I don't think HBO would ever buy that fight unless both put together severall good wins. HBO are not in the business of novelty fights.

They were intrrested in Duddy Hearns when Duddy was a hot prospect.
