Macklin v Winky a definate

The fightnews story is off the mark. Its Hatton agreeing a deal for Macklin to fight Geale in Aus, i don't think Macklin has agreed to that. from what i have heard Macklin has split from the Hattons as they did not pay him what was agreed for his European title fight.

 

This is ridiculous, there has been about 5 different opponents lined up for Macklin in the last two months!

I'd rather he fought Geale, that fight could very well be an eliminator for a Sylvester fight, who he definitely has the beatings of imo.

 

there are quotes from Richard Schaefer on ***********.com saying Winky Wright is only intrested in big fights agaisnt Pavlik and Martinez.

 

why would Macklin ever go to Aus lol

 

I wish Winky would just retire to be honest. He was poor against Hopkins, took nearly 2 years off and was poor against Williams...

 

He needs to earn those big fights.

Pavlik has just been whipped by Martinez, who in turn would make more cash fighting Williams again or looking for Mayweather.

Wright was quality in his prime but hasn't beaten a live, top quality fighter in years, probably since [looking at Boxrec :hey] Mosley in '04.

 

If my friend, Steve, posted on here (and he may do but not tell me!) he'd insist that he beat Taylor
